Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of Kin-Vine. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Kin-Vine family space and act as the family manager. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity in your family space.
Children under 13 do not have their own accounts; a parent or guardian manages profiles on their behalf.
Your content
You own the photos, stories, and information you add. You grant Kin-Vine only the limited permission needed to store, display, and share that content with the family members you invite, in order to provide the service.
You're responsible for having the right to share what you upload, and for using Kin-Vine respectfully and lawfully.
Plans, trials, and billing
Every family starts with a free 7-day trial — no card required. After that, you may choose a paid plan (Basic, Family, Legacy, or a one-time Lifetime plan). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Acceptable use
Don't use Kin-Vine to upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, harass anyone, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Reporting and blocking
Kin-Vine is a private, family-only space, and we ask everyone to help keep it kind. If you see something that doesn't belong, you can report it using the "⋯" menu on any post, comment, message, or profile. When you report something, we hide it from your view right away and automatically, and our team reviews it. You can also block another member at any time: blocking privately hides that person's posts and messages from you and stops them from messaging you. Blocking is private — the other person is not notified — and it changes nothing in your family tree; a blocked relative stays in your family's history. A parent or guardian can report or block on behalf of a child they manage.
If you come across content that is illegal or an immediate threat to someone's safety, please also contact your local authorities — the in-app report tools are not an emergency service.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Disclaimers and liability
Kin-Vine is provided “as is.” While we work hard to keep your memories safe and the service running, we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Kin-Vine's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll post the new date above and notify you of significant changes. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
